286 Days: Since Obama’s Executive Order on Regulations The Obama Administration is proposing a rule to cut the hours of service truck drivers can spend behind the wheel each day from 11 to 10. The rule is one of a handful of regulations being considered by the Obama administration that would cost companies at least $1 billion. The rule, which was supposed to be issued today by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, has been postponed.
