New partnership aims to protect troops against student loan problems

The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau is partnering with the Defense Department to create better awareness of programs and protections available to servicemembers with college debt, after a report that says many servicemembers are encountering problems accessing the benefits.

CSU-Pueblo's veterans program gets $1.2M

Colorado State University-Pueblo’s Veterans Upward Bound program recently was awarded a $1.2 million federal grant to continue providing educational support services for military veterans from Pueblo and El Paso counties.
