More than two thirds (70%) believe increasing the number of regulations on American businesses will result in more jobs moving overseas.

The rule will regulate the internet for the first time in history, and places government as the gatekeeper of internet services. On Friday April 8, 2011, the House passed H.J. Res. 37, sponsored by Rep. Greg Walden of Oregon, by a vote of 240-179. Now that the final rule will be published in the Federal Register, the resolution can be brought to the floor of the Senate for a vote with the signatures of 30 Senators after 20 calendar days in a Senate committee. If passed in the Senate, the resolution will be sent to President Obama’s desk and he will be held directly accountable for a job killing regulation issued by his administration.
