Patron Eligibility for MWR Programs

Patron eligibility for MWR programs falls into one of two categories: unlimited access and limited access.  Unlimited access for MWR programs is consistent from installation to installation, and cannot be modified by installation commanders.  Patron eligibility policy for limited access to MWR programs may be modified at the discretion of installation commanders subject to local demand and capacity.  Detailed charts describing patron eligibility requirements can be found in Enclosure 4 of DoD Instruction 1015.10, “Military Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) Programs,” 6 July 2009 certified as current May 6, 2011.
