****NOTICE****

 

DLA Disposition Services is integrating its systems with the DLA Enterprise Business System.  As a result, the current Reimbursement Report is being enhanced.

All users will need to create an account in AMPS to access the new Reimbursement Report web application.

 

The new report application will be available August 27th.

Report data availability will follow the DLA Disposition Services servicing site implementation schedule:   http://www.dispositionservices.dla.mil/change/ClosedSchedule.pdf.

No historical loading of data will be done into the new reporting system so the old report system will be available for access as needed but it will not be updated with new data.

Regulations

 

Applicable regulations to the QRP are:

DODI 4715.4 (Pollution Prevention) implements 10 U.S.C. 2577 and 32 CFR 172.

DODI 4160.21M, Chap 7 discusses the Resource Recovery & Recycling Program.

10 U.S.C. Sec. 2577 (Disposal of recyclable materials) establishes the authority for  QRPs and discusses distribution of proceeds.

32 CFR 172 (Disposition of Proceeds from DoD Sales of Surplus Personal Property) further discusses proceeds and establishes eligibility and prohibitions.

Documentation

 

Installations/activities must have a Qualfied Recycling Program established to obtain reimbursements.

Letter of Authorization example - must be completed upon start up of a new QRP and submitted to the Location.

Properly completed 1348 example - shows information that must be contained on a scrap turn in document to the Location for eligible QRP property to be reimbursed.

 

Reimbursement Status

 

Reimbursement by DoDAAC
By taking the link above and inserting the official DoDAAC and selecting "GO", DOD programs that are authorized reimbursement of proceeds from sales may determine  the status of their reimbursement.

Any information on sales conducted by local Locations must be obtained from the Location.

 

Ineligible/Eligible Property

 

QRP list of eligible/ineligible property - lists property eligible for reimbursement from DLA Disposition Services and for direct sale by a QRP. All ineligible property MUST be turned in to the Location.
