Superconductivity
Tracer Bullet 92-6 |
|
Superconductivity is the flow of electric current without any
resistance. It was first observed in 1911 at 4.2 K (-452°
F), near absolute zero temperature by Heike Kamerlingh Onnes.
It is accompanied by magnetic phenomena. This guide lists information
sources on this subject which are located in the collections of
the Library of Congress.
