VMFA-312 Marines Flex Their Muscles;

While USS Harry S. Truman and its battlegroup transited the Suez Canal, the Marines and Sailors of VMFA-312, took time from their busy workdays to benchpress 3.12 million pounds, one hundred pounds at a time.  With the consent of MWR, the Checkerboards stormed the mezzanine gym in true Marine fashion from 9 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 27, until 9 a.m.

'312 underway in Mediterranean
