The HPA&E division operates under TMA and supports MHS leadership and performance-based decision-making and execution. The HPA&E staff applies scientific methods and provides operational support of this mission through the following:
Survey programs
Beneficiary and provider satisfaction surveys
Population health surveys (measuring disease prevalence, burden of illness and lifestyle behaviors)
Ad hoc surveys (upon request or necessity)
MHS contractor incentive fee surveys (mail order pharmacy, health care services and support contractors)
Health care survey operations and information control
