Lt. Gen. Frank Grass addressed the attendees to wish the N-NC Army personnel a happy 237th birthday.

“237 years ago, our nation’s leaders established the Continental Army, beginning a rich heritage of successfully defending this great country and her citizens,” he said. “Today, as we are in the midst of the longest war in our country’s history, we celebrate the continued honor, loyalty and bravery of our Soldiers in this noble calling; and we celebrate the support we, as Army Warriors receive from our families and our community. I’m sure each of you are proud to be a part of something greater than ourselves, a part of our Army – an Army that is rich in history, composed of people from all walks of life, doing truly uncommon acts of heroism. It is our warriors that make our Army Strong.”
