WBV-74 - Western Tie-In Closure Structure
Construct closure structure for 100-yr level of protection. Formerly "Western Tie-In Structures."

This contract constructed a sector gate in Bayou Verret. This sector gate was built to the 100-year level of protection and connects WBV-72 on the east and west side of the canal. This project included the construction of the sector gate, floodwalls, small levee sections, and a by-pass channel.

CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES

WBV-74 - 23 September 2010: Contractor will continue placing preload sand on westbank via access road and place pre-load sand on eastbank via barge as well as continue un-watering.
