WBV-01 - Contract 1, Sectorgate to Boomtown Floodwall
Construct floodwalls to level of protection provided by engineering division.
This contract involves the construction of approximately 7,860 linear feet of pile founded concrete floodwall from the Harvey Sector Gate southward along the east bank of Harvey Canal. The floodwall alignment will generally follow Peter’s Road in Jefferson Parish. Industries located on the unprotected side of the floodwall will have access gates installed through the flood protection barrier.
