PFPA OMBUDSMAN

The PFPA Ombudsman is a dispute resolution practitioner who serves all members of the PFPA workforce by responding promptly and fairly to issues, problems or disputes arising from or affecting their work environment. The Ombudsman provides a safe place to discuss work-related concerns without fear of retaliation.

The cornerstone of the Ombudsman's practice is CONFIDENTIALITY.

The Ombudsman holds all communications with those seeking help in strict confidence and does not disclose information or the identity of the individual contacting the office unless given express permission to do so. The only exception is where there appears to be an imminent risk of serious harm.

The Office of the Ombudsman is the logical first step to resolving workplace concerns in a non-adversarial manner before deciding to take them through more formal administrative channels.
