Visitor and Newcomer Information

Malmstrom Air Force Base is located on the east side of Great Falls, Mont. Base gates are located at the east ends of 2nd Avenue North and 10th Avenue North.

The 2nd Avenue North gate is open around the clock.

The 10th Avenue North gate is open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Friday. The gate is closed on weekends and holidays.

Both gates are accessible from the Highway 87 bypass, alternately River Road and 57th Street, on the east side of Great Falls.

 

 

tabVisitor Control Center Information 
Malmstrom's visitor control center is located on 2nd Avenue North just outside the base gate and is open 24/7. The 341st Security Forces Squadron issues vehicle and visitor passes in the center.

All visitors require a visitor pass. To receive one, individual(s) must have a valid, government-issued photo ID and an authorized sponsor (service member or dependent). Each sponsor may escort up to six people in no more than two vehicles (not including the sponsors).

Vehicle passes require current registration, proof of insurance, a valid driver's license and an authorized sponsor. For VCC question, call (406) 731-4489.

Malmstrom Museum visitors may obtain museum passes by checking in at the VCC. For more information about the Museum, click here.

Contact the Housing Management Office as soon as you know you are moving. The government housing team will provide you the latest informaiton on the local housing situation and offer complete referral services and relocation assistance to make sure you find a quality place to live. The 341st Force Support Squadron Airman & Family Readiness Center is charged wtih caring for Airmen and their families by educating newcomers before and during a PCS.
