Just minutes away from Magic Kingdom and nestled between two PGA Championship golf courses, the Magnolia and Palm golf courses, the resort is the perfect destination for US Military members and their families to vacation.
As the only AFRC in the Continental United States, Shades of Green is operated by the U.S. Army in support of all branches of our military by offering tax-free accommodations. The resort has 583 rooms that can sleep up to five people and includes a Wounded Warrior suite and 23 ADA rooms. The rooms and the hallways are the most spacious on Walt Disney World property and they include complimentary wi-fi to all guests.
Military members can purchase discounted Disney tickets, before hopping on our complimentary Shades of Green buses to any of the Disney attractions. As a partner of Walt Disney World, all guests at the resort can enjoy the Extra Magic Hours program. Once returning from your busy day, dine at our property restaurants, Mangino’s and Garden Gallery, where kids, up to the age of 6 years, eat free. End your day by splashing around at any of our two swimming pools or work out at our state of the art fitness center.
