Reenlistment

Following his re-enlistment ceremony, Kenneth shakes hands with his grandfather. After finding out that retired commissioned officers from any branch of service could administer the oath of enlistment, Kenneth knew he would “have to ask him to do this at some point.” Now, after his re-enlistment, Kenneth believes that “no decoration or award could have honored me more or taken the place of him doing this for me,” he said.
