- Statistical Abstract of the United States: Provides a summary of statistics on social, political, and economic characteristics of the United States that has been published by the Census Bureau since 1878. These volumes include data from the Census Bureau and many other federal agencies and private organizations.
- DataFerrett: A data mining tool that accesses data stored in TheDataWeb through the Internet. It allows you to create your own data tables or extractions using an interactive tool.
- National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA): The NTIA is responsible for advising the President on telecommunications and information policies. NTIA produces reports and documents on computers and broadband Internet usage.
- Federal Communications Commission (FCC): The FCC is charged with regulating interstate and international communications by radio, television, wire, satellite and cable. The FCC does not regulate the Internet or Internet Service Providers (ISPs), however, the agency produced the National Broadband Plan which lays out a roadmap to America’s Internet future.
- PEW Internet and American Life Project: The Project produces reports exploring the impact of the Internet on families, communities, work and home, daily life, education, heal care, and civic and political life.
