A team of four middle school Mathletes® from Seoul American Middle School, placed second in the 2006 DoDEA MATHCOUNTS State Competition. The top team was from Landstuhl Elementary/Middle School in Europe.

Between March 26-30, approximately 115 students from Guam, Korea, Japan and Okinawa will be attending the Pacific Junior Science and Humanities Symposium at Tsukuba Science City, Japan.
