Kislyak and various other guests today participated in a dedication ceremony for artworks honoring the first two space pioneers to orbit the earth, Russian Cosmonaut Yuri A. Gagarin and United States Astronaut John H. Glenn.

Wortham Center Tree LightingHundreds of Houston-area children will celebrate the beginning of the holiday season at the Wortham Center Tree Lighting Ceremony, a joyous, colorful festival held in the Grand Foyer of the Wortham Theater Center downtown. The highlight of the event will occur when the Sugar Plum Fairy illuminates 8,000 twinkling lights on Wortham Theater Center's 25-foot tall Christmas tree, beginning at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 21.
