Giant goldfish taking over a popular Western U.S. resort lake, gobbling up the locals (fish, that is) – sounds like a bad science fiction movie, right? Actually, this is just one example of the problems caused by nonnative and invasive species. Texas is not immune. State officials are battling to stop the spread of invasive zebra mussels. KILLS ON THE BRAZOS RIVER
