MEDITERRANEAN SEA (March 11, 2011) -- Damage Controlman 3rd Class Adam Beach reports a simulated toxic gas leak to damage control central while other members of the Flying Squad rig a smoke curtain during a damage control drill aboard USS Ponce (LPD 15). Ponce is part of the Kearsarge Amphibious Ready Group, supporting maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 6th Fleet area of responsibility.
