Service Regulations and Orders

Army

Army Regulation (AR) 608-1, "Army Community Service Center," September 19, 2007 This Regulation prescribes the policies and responsibilities for establishing and operating an Army Community Service (ACS) Center at Army installations, Office of the Army Volunteer Corps Coordinator (AVCC), and organizations accepting voluntary service. Chapter 4 provides the policy for deployment/mobilization and stability and support for operation readiness.

Marine Corps

Marine Corps Order (MCO) P1700.27B, "Marine Corps Community Services Policy Manual," March 9, 2007  This Order provides organizational, operational, and financial policies for Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) programs and activities. Chapter 7 defines deployment support programs and requirements for deploying forces of the Marine Corps.

Navy

Office of the Chief of Naval Operations Instruction (OPNAVINST) 1740.4D, "U.S. Navy Family Care Policy," October 27, 2009  This Instruction assists service members in developing a Family Care Plan and establishes procedural requirements for the Family Care Plan.

OPNAVINST 1750.1F, "Navy Family Ombudsman Program," March 23, 2009  This Instruction provides policy and assigns responsibilities for the Navy Family Ombudsman Program.

OPNAVINST 1754.1B, "Fleet and Family Support Center (FFSC) Program," November 5, 2007  This Instruction establishes policy and assigns responsibilities for the administration and support of the Navy FFSC program. This Instruction includes deployment and readiness program components.

OPNAVINST 1754.5, "Family Readiness Groups," September 20, 2006  This Instruction prescribes policies and assigns responsibilities for the Navy Family Readiness Group program.

Secretary of the Navy Instruction (SECNAVINST) 1754.1B, "Department of the Navy Family Support Programs," September 27, 2005  This Instruction revises Department of the Navy policy and assigns responsibilities for the implementation of the Navy and Marine Corps Family Support Programs and key functions. It includes the policies for mobilization and deployment assistance.

Air Force

Air Force Instruction (AFI) 36-2908, "Family Care Plans," October 1, 2000  This Instruction establishes responsibilities and outlines procedures governing Family Care Plans in the Air Force.

Coast Guard

Commandant Instruction (CI) 1750.4D, "Ombudsman Program," March 10, 2006  This Instruction provides policy and program guidance applicable to all Coast Guard units for the Ombudsman Program.
