The Material Laboratory Mannheim (MLM) provides physical and chemical testing support for USAREUR and tenant units in the EUCOM area of operation.
The team of MLM performs material testing and analysis in the areas of procurement acceptance testing and cyclic surveillance testing of supplies for serviceability and /or extension of shelf life (material testing and analysis covers a wide range of commodities including but not limited to paints/paint products, adhesives, sealants, coating materials, rubber products, metals, paper products, petroleum products, wood products, etc.).
They analyze in the areas of environmental protection, pollution detection and prevention and hazardous material (HAZMAT) identification.
