It is with great satisfaction for me to report the final balance of our 2010 Combined Federal Campaign. This year campaign was a complete success, we exceeded last year campaign participations and contributions by 4.08% and $16,602.95 respectively.
Out of all Major Commands we were the only command that exceeded the previous year figures.
We were able to defeat the odds presented by a economy with too many uncertainties; when other commands reduced their participation and amount of their contributions (Probably as a result of the economy), we not only collected more than the amount collected last year but we increased our participation rate considerably.
None of this would had been possible without your support and understanding of how the CFC is really making a difference.
All the hard work and dedication of the CAPOS, Unit Coordinators, and every key person who in addition to their day to day duties ensured your contribution was properly routed and provided you with the proper guidance and support, were another key factor for the success of this campaign.
I want to personally thank the CAPOS for AFRICOM HQ, HOA, ODC and IKD-M for their role in increasing their area participation by 0.5%, 11.5%, 8.7% and 9.0% respectively. The figures speak for itself.
