Public Feedback Temporarily Interrupted by Technical Error
Our deep apologies. A technical error prevented blogging and public feedback to our Website for the past couple of weeks. We've only recently learned about it and fixed it. Up until the outage, we received nearly 300 responses from the public, averaging about one a day since this feature was launched at the end of 2007. Reading these messages from visitors all over the world has been one of the highlights of our workday, and nearly all of them have met our guidelines for posting. If you think one of your notes to us has been lost, please feel free to resubmit it. Or write us directly at africom-pao@africom.mil
As a reminder, here are our posting guidelines: AFRICOM Dialogue Public Comment Policy
We welcome a range of opinion and comment, however:
Vulgar, offensive or threatening language is prohibited.
Public comments must be related to the posted topic.
Comments may not promote or oppose any person or party campaigning for election or political office, or any ballot proposition.
Advertisements or promotions for business or commercial transactions are prohibited.
Communications made to or through the AFRICOM public website messaging system will in no way constitute a legal or official notice or comment to the U.S. government or any official or employee of the U.S. government for any purpose.
Before being publicly posted, comments will be reviewed to ensure they meet the terms of this policy.
This policy is subject to amendment or modification at any time.
Respectfully, Vince Crawley U.S. Africa Command Public Affairs Office
