In the case of inclement weather or emergency situations, the Community Commander may determine that it is necessary to close school, delay the opening of school, (usually a two hour delay), or release students early. The decision to close or delay the opening of school cannot be made by school officials.
Adverse weather conditions and school closure information can be obtained by listening to AFN and from the USAREUR Road Conditions website(external website).

Student Absences - Inform the School |
It is the responsibility of the parent or guardian to inform the school each time the student is absent. A call to the main office of the school should be made before 9:00 on the day of the absence by the parent or guardian. Planned absences should be reported to the school at least a day prior to the expected absence. |
