Quantico Middle/High School boys varsity Warriors went up against Grace Preparatory School of Stafford, Va., here on Jan. 6. The Warriors won 65-19.
"During recent practices, they seemed to have a better outlook on the game," said Eddie Cottrell, head coach for the Warriors before the game. "They seemed more focused. Even though we have lost one of our starters, Chase, due his family moving, I believe we are still ready for the game tonight."
The Warriors started by showing how physical they could be. They hustled on both sides of the ball, giving Grace Prep few opportunities to score.
