Chief, Army Reserve visits EUCOM

EUCOM just completed a successful visit from the Chief Army Reserve CAR LTG Jack Stultz and the CSM Army Reserve CSM Leon Caffie on 12 February 2009.

LTG Stultz and CSM Caffie's four day visit also includes stops at USAREUR 7th Civil Support Command Kosovo SETAF and AFRICOM. Both met with the EUCOM leadership and were very interested in how the United States Army Reserve (USAR) can continue to best serve EUCOM.

The highlight of their visit was a Town Hall Meeting with all USAR Soldiers stationed here at EUCOM and AFRICOM. During the Town Hall Meeting LTG Stultz and CSM Caffie discussed the changes taking place in the USAR their expectations of USAR Officers and NCOs the very successful USAR Employer Partnership Initiative EPI and then answered any and all questions from USAR Soldiers.

Every USAR Solider I talked with came away with a sense of satisfaction that both LTG Stultz and CSM Caffie listened to their issues and truly care.

EUCOM Commander hosts town hallĀ meeting

It's refreshing to be assured by the EUCOM commander, Army Gen. John Craddock, that quality of life issues for members of the EUCOM community are being noticed and he is working with his staff to find the right answers. GEN Craddock has a very distinguished 38-year record and when he says he's going to work an issue, I for one, am compelled to believe him. The GEN has spent countless hours working on ways to improve the quality of life for service members, family members, DoD civilianns, and contractors who live here in Stuttgart.
