    • No one in either party has the courage to do this. What did Presidents Hoover, Truman, and Eisenhower have in common? This is something that should be of great interest for you to pass around. I didn't know of this until it was pointed out to me. Back during the great depression, Herbert Hoover ordered the deportation of ALL illegal aliens in order to make jobs available to American citizens that desperately needed work. Harry Truman deported over two million illegal aliens after WWII to create jobs for returning veterans. In 1954 Dwight Eisenhower deported 13 million Mexicans. The program was called Operation Wetback. It was done so WWII and Korean War veterans would have a better chance at jobs. It took two years, but they deported them! Now, if they could deport the illegal aliens back then, they could surely do it today. If you have doubts about the veracity of this information, enter Operation Wetback into your favorite search engine and confirm it for yourself. Why, you might ask, can't they do this today? Actually the answer is quite simple. Hoover , Truman, and Eisenhower were men of honor, not untrustworthy politicians looking for votes!

The postal service wants to raise the price of stamps and cut hours on the smaller post offices. This will not do any good. They need the offices to be open for the working people. Here's the reason they will never go into the black. Why The Postal Service Is Broke and Cannot Recover It is a shame with all the bright minds in the Postal Service and no one can do simple math. The reason the postal service is broke and cannot recover is very simple, FREE ROUTE DELIVERIES ! Let’s just take one rural route employee’s expenses (and there are a train load of them) and do the math. The example route is 100 boxes on a 200 mile round trip delivery per day. Each box on the route buys 5 rolls of stamps per year (this is being generous). Let’s say the route driver gets $20 per hour and he/she is getting 50 cents a mile for vehicle expense (these numbers are conservative). Now, 8 hours a day average with $20 an hour for wages is $160 a day. Now, 200 miles a day times 50 cents a mile for vehicle expense is $100 a day. For those who cannot figure math, that’s $260 a day expense to the Postal Service for just one route driver. $260 times 6 days a week, times 52 weeks brings the grand total to $81,120 expense the Postal Service is out for one route driver per year. Each box buys 5 rolls of stamps ($45 per roll) and that comes to $22,500. Now that we have the numbers, let’s do the math: Expense for the postal service for just one route driver per year is: $81,120 Minus the stamps that were purchased for the year: $22,500 THE COST OF FREE DELIVERY SERVICE IS: $58,620 Now, can someone tell me how in the world a business can stay in business with this kind of loss? You cannot do it. This does not even include the mail processing and handling fees to get the mail to the route drivers. Now the Postal Service wants to raise stamps and cut hours of business at the smaller post offices, making it hard for working people to do their postal business. The best thing to do is charge people delivery fees just like the people who get their mail at the post office pay box rents. Problem fixed. No more tax dollars bailing out the postal service.

I have really liked the responses from Romney and Ryan when asked about working with both parties to accomplish things. Didn't like the responses from Obama and Obiden - sounded one sided.
