The Real Warriors Campaign recently launched “Real Warriors, Real Advice,” a new weekly podcast series in which service members, veterans and military families highlight the importance of seeking care for invisible wounds and offer tools and tips on building and maintaining psychological resilience.

In the first episode, Real Warrior Staff Sgt. Josh Hopper shares his experience of reaching out for care and encourages other service members and veterans to do the same, stating, “I had more help than I could have asked for from my entire command. It’s up to you: if you want to get better from it, you’re going to get better from it as long as you get the help and give whatever treatment plan you're in a shot.”

According to Col. Christopher Robison, deputy director for the Psychological Health Clinical Standards of Care directorate, Defense Centers of Excellence for Psychological Health and Traumatic Brain Injury, “The campaign’s podcasts are a great new resource to connect with audiences and share the message that seeking care or support is a sign of strength that benefits the entire military community. It’s so valuable to hear Real Warriors share their knowledge, experiences and best practices for building and maintaining psychological resilience.”
