Honey-Nut Sugar Snap Peas

  • Ingredients

    • 4 cups frozen sugar snap peas
    • 1/2 cup peanuts or pine nuts
    • 1 tablespoon margarine or butter
    • 1 tablespoon honey
    • 1 teaspoon prepared mustard
  • Directions

    1. In a 1 1/2-quart microwave safe casserole, combine peas and 2 tablespoons water.
    2. Cover and microwave on HIGH for 6 to 9 minutes or until crisp-tender, stirring once halfway through cooking. Drain well.
    3. Add peanuts, margarine, honey and mustard; toss to gently mix.
    4. Serve warm.
    • Yields: 4 servings
