Jason Cobb, an A-10 pilot assigned to the 47th Fighter Squadron of the 917th Wing at Barksdale Air Force Base, La., circles around for another pass at a target on the Saylor Creek Range in Idaho, Oct. 14, 2010, during Hawgsmoke 2010. The competition, which is a biennial worldwide A-10 bombing, missile and tactical gunnery competition, this year involved 40 jets and 72 pilots from 18 different units, and was hosted by the 190th Fighter Squadron of the 124th Fighter Wing, Idaho Air National Guard. Captain Cobb, who hails from Idaho and transitioned to the 47th FS from 190th FS felt right at home during the competition. He took home two personal awards from Hawgsmoke 2010.
