Being selected to participate in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl is an honor reserved for only the Nation’s most exceptional high school football players, as only the strongest wear the Army colors. As a U.S. Army All-American, these young men join the ranks of gridiron greats including Adrian Peterson, Mark Sanchez, Tim Tebow, Andrew Luck, Marcus Lattimore, Robert Woods and many other college and NFL stars. These young Americans have earned their selection by displaying some of the very same characteristics found in every Army Strong Soldier, on and off the field.

Get the details on each of this year’s U.S. Army All-Americans and what strengths they’ll bring to the U.S. Army All-American Bowl.

Mackensie Alexander

Defensive Back

175 lbs
Undecided
Immokalee High School | Immokalee, FL

As a junior, Alexander enjoyed an extremely productive 2011 season, tallying 42 tackles, three interceptions, two fumble recoveries, and six pass deflections. He followed that up with a strong showing at the U.S. Army National Combine, winning a spot on the All-Defense team. Aggressively pressing and manipulating receivers at the line of scrimmage, Alexander is stronger than his 175-pound weight would suggest. He has fluid hips and the speed to run with anyone downfield, making him the shutdown corner that every program covets.
