Description
This module was developed to provide Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) interns with basic information that will help launch interns on their way to a successful career with DCMA. The module will identify DCMA's structure, mission, and vision; identify the functions of the Federal Acquisition Regulation, the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement, and other guidance in DoD contracting; differentiate among the various contracting stages and basic contract types; identify the role of the contracting officer's representative; and describe the Defense Finance and Accounting Service's involvement in the contract payment process.
