As an Air Force Nurse Midwife, you'll be on the front lines of women's health by caring for female Airmen and the spouses of male Airmen during pregnancy, labor, delivery and postpartum. Your guidance, care and expertise will help Air Force families around the globe bring their children into the world. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to continue your education and training and enter the Air Force as an officer, giving you instant respect and credibility.
To ease your transition into the Air Force, you'll enter a five-week training regimen designed to educate you on the ways of both the military and military healthcare. You'll participate in physical conditioning five days a week, leadership training and classroom studies.
