Barry Sanders

Barry Sanders, Running back and I’m on the west.

Kathleen Stark: Our students are so excited; they’ve been anticipating this visit for weeks. We told them before Christmas break and when they came back they were eager and ready to have the players come.

Barry Sanders: We have fifth graders say they’ve seen the game and kind of know what it’s all about and so it’s pretty cool being able to say I’m a part of it and they say they’re going to be watching.

Kathleen Stark: And having the U.S. Army support this team and to have them chose Wright Elementary we’re very honored. It really exemplifies what we’re trying to teach our kids.

Barry Sanders: It’s not; we’re hanging around with all Army guys I’ve been able to build a bond with those guys something special and I look forward to seeing those guys throughout the week.

SFC Steve Kimsey: I feel very fortunate being selected out of all the Special Operations, all the Army Soldiers getting to come down here for this, because it’s only a handful of people just like the best football players in the nation they’re a handful of players.

Barry Sanders: I appreciate them for serving the country.
