    While humanitarian aid pours into Haiti's capitol, air traffic in and out of the area is very congested. The U.S. Air Force air traffic controllers are helping flights get in and out of Port-au-Prince in order to safely deliver the much needed aid to the people of the earthquake ravaged island.

    The Heavy Airlift Wing (HAW) out of Papa, Hungary is providing aid to Haiti after the 7.0 earthquake, Jan. 12. This is the first humanitarian assistance operation flown by the HAW since it stood up in July 2009. The wing is a multi-national force made up of Airmen from 12 nations.
