Arlington National Cemetery is developing ANC Explorer, an application that
will be available across common web browsers and mobile smart phones. This app will
enable veterans, family members and the public to explore Arlington's rich history.
The application will also be loaded on new kiosks located in the Arlington National
Cemetery Visitors Center.
The first version of ANC Explorer will allow users to locate gravesites,
events, or other points of interest; generate front and back photos of a headstone
or monument; and receive directions to those locations. In the future, ANC Explorer
will offer features such as emergency and event notifications, restroom and water
fountain locations, shuttle stops and self-guided tours.
ANC Explorer will be available through iTunes and Google Play as well as this website.
