Military Severely Injured - Scholarships

Financing a college education can be an intimidating task and it is important to take advantage of the educational benefits available. There are many scholarship opportunities available to Severely Injured Service members and their families.

Schools Offering Scholarships for Military Severely Injured:

  • American Sentinel University: American Sentinel University offers a scholarship for military severely injured that covers half the cost of tuition, books, and materials.

  • Bellevue University Purple Heart Scholarship: Bellevue University offers scholarships to any service member receiving a Purple Heart for wounds suffered during conflict.

  • Boston University Metropolitan College: Boston University Metropolitan College offers two $5,000 scholarships to members of the military who have received Purple Hearts for wounds received in combat.

  • Central Michigan University: Central Michigan University offers scholarships to military personnel who have incurred injuries while serving in combat.

  • Coastline Community College: Coastline Community College offers five $1,000 scholarships for severely injured service members.

  • ECPI College of Technology: ECPI College of Technology offers scholarships of varying amounts to military members who have been severely injured while in armed conflict.

  • Grantham University: Grantham University offers four-year scholarships to U.S. service members in the military who have received a "Rating Decision" memo of 20% disability or higher from the Veterans Administration.

  • Old Dominion University: Old Dominion University offers a $1,000 scholarship for any service member sustaining a disability in the line of duty.

  • PC Professor Technical Institute:  PC Professor Technical Institute offers $1,000 scholarships to severely injured members of the military.

  • ParalegalTech University: Once every two months, ParalegalTech University offers a full scholarship to a service member or veteran who has been wounded in the line of duty.

  • University of Idaho: The University of Idaho launched Operation Education, a special scholarship program for wounded veterans and/or their spouses.

  • University of Nebraska at Omaha: The University of Nebraska at Omaha offers the Wounded Veterans Scholarship Fund.
