Mr. Carlton Drew, M.S.A, M.S.
Director, Education
Defense Centers of Excellence for Psychological Health and Traumatic Brain Injury (DCoE)
Mr. Carlton Drew currently serves as the Director, Education Directorate. Before assuming this position, he was the Assistant Director for Learning and Development, Washington Headquarters services. In this capacity, he managed training and education, course and competency development, resource management and an online learning management system supporting the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Defense Agencies and DoD Field Activities.
Mr. Drew has served in a variety of positions involving administration, finance, program management, training, and personnel. During his federal tenure he has served in a variety of leadership and operational roles, including positions such as Supervisory Administrative Coordinator, Walter Reed Army Medical Center; Management Analyst, Defense Acquisition University; Management Analyst, Naval Aviation Systems Command; and Distributed Learning Branch Chief, Department of Homeland Security – where he won the Commissioner’s Award for Innovation.
Mr. Drew received his Master of Science in Information Systems Technology from the George Washington University. He also holds a Master of Science in Health Administration from Central Michigan University and a Bachelor of Science in Health-Services Management from the University of Maryland University College. Mr. Drew is a graduate of the Federal Executive Institute in Charlottesville, VA and a member of the American College for Health Care Executives.
