CARSON CITY – Nevada Soldiers put aside their regular duties on Oct. 13 and 14 as the entire Army Guard, along with the active duty Army, came to a halt worldwide for a singular purpose: to learn more about suicide prevention and safety, and more importantly, about each other.   

RENO – Ninety four High Rollers were recognized at the third annual Nevada Air Guard Hometown Heroes Salute Ceremony, Sunday, Oct. 13, at the Nevada Air Guard Base. The Hometown Heroes Salute is a campaign to honor Airmen, their families and others who do not wear the uniform, but make sacrifices nonetheless in support of wartime call-ups.

CARSON CITY— The Nevada Army National Guard held its annual Retiree Appreciation Day event today at the Office of The Adjutant General. The event included a ceremony to honor all 2012 Nevada Army Guard retirees and three were specifically recognized for their more than 90 years of combined military service.
