Federal Grants and Loans

• Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA): This is the required application from the US Department of Education, used to determine eligibility for any form of federal financial aid.
• Pell Grant: The Pell Grant is a form of financial assistance provided by the federal government that does not need to be repaid.
• Stafford Loan: A government loan program for students enrolled at least half-time.
• Perkins Loans: Loans paid back directly to the university.

Educational Benefits

• Survivors' and Dependents' Educational Assistance Program (DEA): DEA offers financial assistance to spouses of certain military veterans looking to further their education.
• Federal Work-Study: Provides part-time jobs to students to help pay for educational costs.
