    Good Day Friends and Families,

    We have joined together as a class and have challenged ourselves to run a half marathon (13.1 miles) in November in support of the American Liver Foundation and sponsored by Fattman Productions. It is called the Chilly Half Marathon due to it being the last race of the season in the New England area and we will be running in the COLD!

    There are a small handful of...
    us who have completed this feat before but for the majority of us, we will be training hard over the next few months to accomplish this. We will do our best to post updates on our progress through the program and training.

    Please support us in our training with encouraging words, thoughts, and we graciously ask if you can afford a donation please support us financially. The race director has waived all of our entry fees in exchange for setting up a donation site to support the American Liver Foundation!

    We thank you and look forward to hearing from each and every one of you!

    Congratulations to Capt. Kenneth Megan! Capt. Megan was promoted this afternoon during the Coast Guard Band's last summer concert at Fort Trumbull. Megan is the second captain to direct the Coast Guard Band.
