Human Resources Reporting
The DLA Human Resources Services Report Team can produce recurring or one-time reports for DLA organizations. Reports may not contain fields documented as Personally Identifiable Information (PII) - this includes the Social Security Number and personal fields such as the home address and date of birth. Privacy and security are of the utmost importance, and the Report Team may require additional justification or authorization prior to preparing any requested reports. The reporting team can only provide data and will not be able to accommodate special formatting or develop charts for organizations:
Three primary options are available for reports requests.
- Organizational Listing in MS Word: Available to supervisors and managers, this report lists the organization title followed by summary position information for all employees assigned to the organization, sorted in grade and supervisor/non-supervisor order. Click here to view a sample report. To order a copy for your organization, send an email request with the organization required and your contact information to hr.reports@dla.mil. The reports team will only provide listings within the requester’s organization, and the requester must be a supervisor/manager or have written approval from a supervisor/manager to receive the report (ex: – admin office).
- Standard Reports in MS Excel Format: The reporting organization has many standard reports available for use by DLA organizations. Contact the report team (hr.reports@dla.mil) about your recurring report requirements. Common examples include:
- Organizational Listings:
- Personnel transactions (awards, promotions, etc)
- Attrition Rates
- Employee Salary Information
- Ad-Hoc Reports: The Report Team will support DLA organizations with special one-time requests to meet organizational report requirements. Identify the data fields or personnel transactions required in the desired sort order and submit the request in writing to hr.reports@dla.mil. Provide your contact information and requested due date. The Report Team will respond with any questions and do their best to provide the data in a timely manner, however response times will vary based on demand and priorities. This Ad-Hoc request template can be used to better frame request to help obtain the desired results without rework.
