Historical Data Tabulations by Enterprise Size-2008

  2008 Annual Tabulations  


Data include number of firms, number of establishments, employment, and annual payroll by employment size of the enterprise. The industry classification is based on 2007 North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes. An establishment with 0 employment is an establishment reporting no paid employees in the mid-March pay period, but paid employees at some time during the year.

Employment change data include the number of establishments and corresponding employment change for births, deaths, expansions, and contractions by employment size of enterprise. The industry classification is based on 2002 NAICS codes. An establishment with 0 employment is an establishment reporting no paid employees in the mid-March pay period, but paid employees at some time during the year. Learn More »
