Captain (P) Eunice H. Sorrell

Captain Eunice Sorrell was born in Seattle, Washington. She enlisted in the US Army and was assigned to 175th Transportation Company in Fort Lewis, Washington as her first duty station. Upon completion of her enlistment, Captain Sorrell entered the ROTC program at the University of Washington where she received her Commission into the Ordnance Corps.

Captain Sorrell's past duty assignments include: Platoon Leader and Executive Officer, B/302nd Forward Support Battalion, Maintenance Control Supervisor, 2-9(M) Infantry Combined Arms Battalion, Executive Officer, F/2-9(M) Infantry Combined Arms Battalion, Assistant Brigade S4, 12th Combat Aviation Brigade, Supply and Services Officer, 412th Aviation Support Battalion, Forward Support Company Commander, E/5-158 General Support Aviation Battalion, Division Maintenance Officer, 1st Armored Division, and Plans Officer, G3 21st Theater Sustainment Command.

Captain Sorrell's awards and decorations include: the Bronze Star Medal with one Bronze Oak Leaf Cluster, Army Commendation Medal with two Bronze Oak Leaf Clusters, Army Achievement Medal with two Bronze Oak Leaf Clusters, Meritorious Unit Citation, National Defense Service Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal with 2 Bronze Service Stars, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Korean Defense Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon and Overseas Service Ribbon.

CPT Sorrell's family resides in Seattle, Washington; consisting of her mother and father (Chung Sook and Henry), four sisters (Joyce, Alice, Grace, Janice), and brother (Bryan). Additionally she has been blessed with 15 nephews and nieces.
