Data Products
The CES research program develops public–use data products by combining and enhancing existing data.
Business Dynamics Statistics (BDS): Measures of establishment business dynamics by state, firm, size, age, and industrial sector
Quarterly Workforce Indicators (QWI): Workforce statistics by demography, geography, and industry for each state
OnTheMap: Data on where workers live and work
SIPP Synthetic Beta (SSB): Synthetic Survey of Income and Program Participation
Synthetic Longitudinal Business Database (SynLBD): Beta version of synthetic microdata on all U.S. establishments
CES maintains and enhances microdata for research use in approved projects. All researcher access to restricted–use data occurs at the secure Census Research Data Centers (RDCs).

Health Data from partnering agencies:
Microdata are data at the level of the establishment, firm, individual, or household that are collected through census and survey programs.
Census Research Data Centers (RDCs) are U.S. Census Bureau facilities, staffed by a Census Bureau employee, which meet all physical and computer security requirements for access to restricted–use data. At RDCs, qualified researchers with approved projects receive restricted access to selected non–public Census Bureau data files.
The Virtual RDC provides access to public use data products and a computing environment that mirrors the Census Bureau RDCs.
