The Visiting Scholar Program

The Visiting Scholar program at DLIFLC was created to provide opportunities for the professional development of faculty development specialists and to enhance and supplement the division’s in-service teacher education program. FD invites renowned scholars with highly specialized knowledge to provide workshops and training sessions for teachers, chairs, academic specialists, project managers and other supervisors and deans.

Additionally, workshops in the Visiting Scholar series aim to enhance the expertise of faculty development specialists, to function as 'Train the Trainer' seminars, to create the knowledge base for the design and development of workshops specifically tailored and adapted to the needs of the Institute’s faculty and leadership.
