The Financial Industry Studies Department provides analytical products and services related to the financial sector, with the overall goal of promoting sound supervisory policy. Economists, financial analysts and alternate investments specialists work with senior management in the Banking Supervision Department to meet specific supervisory responsibilities and address related policy issues. Output includes surveillance tools, internal analyses and policy articles written for Federal Reserve and academic publications.
