The 55th Annual Air Force Media Contest drew more than 400 entries in print, graphics, web, photography, broadcast journalism and music categories. The competition is sponsored by the Secretary of the Air Force Public Affairs Office and is conducted by Headquarters Air Force Public Affairs Agency.

Judging was done in Washington, D.C., by educators, civilian authorities and retired military professionals. First-place winners in print and broadcast categories will represent the Air Force in the Department of Defense's Thomas Jefferson Awards Program in April. Photography and video entries participate in separate DOD competitions.
