SPēD Test Sites and Schedule

Beginning FY13, the DSS SPēD Program Management Office (PMO) will host SPēD Certification testing at CDSE, Linthicum, MD, only. This will remain in effect until commercial testing has reached full operation capability for CONUS and select sites overseas.

APC testing only Mondays and Tuesdays at 0900 and 1300. SFPC, SAPPC, and all other SPēD Certification testing only Wednesdays at 0900 and 1300 at CDSE. Please note there is no APC testing on Wednesdays.

As of November 1, 2012, CDSE will cease SPēD testing of SFPC and SAPPC at CDSE in Linthicum, MD, as DSS migrates SFPC and SAPPC over to Pearson VUE for test delivery. CDSE will continue offering SPIPC beta, Adjudicator Professionalization Certification and Due Process, and Special Program Security Certification (SPSC) testing at CDSE Linthicum, MD. CDSE will resume offering SFPC and SAPPC certification testing at Pearson VUE test centers in the second quarter of FY13.

DoD candidates can contact their Service/Agency SPēD PMO for more information. Contractors performing security duties on behalf of the DoD at government locations should contact their respective Service/Agency SPēD PMO. Industry Facility Security Officers (FSOs) and staff may contact DSS SPēD PMO directly at SPeD@dss.mil with questions.
